Congratulations to Terry. I know it won't, but I hope this shuts the Anti-TM people up for at least a little while.
I had to get involved in a conversation after the game on Sunday in the pub when I heard, 'We don't like Matterson'. I couldn't believe that statement after winning 5 games out of 7, which included beating Wigan, Hull and Catalan away.

Matterson will move back to Australia in the future and I hope it's to coach the Broncos. I do think we'll have him for another couple of years though as he's builing something special here. And if the Broncos want him it means he's doing well at the club.

Of course, with there never say die attitude they have made Terry the good coach he is today and deserves an accolade, but then again TM as been superb this season bringing on the right subs at the right time, starting people who are in form and leaving big named players on the bench, tactically he's better than ever .. he's a very smart coach. Smarter than people think.

Very well deserved IMO

I've always been a big fan of Terry and I love the positive, attacking style of play he's brought to the club. I was very pleased that Cas persevered with him and it's nice to see that things are going well at the moment.

A well-deserved accolade to a top bloke.

I entirely agree. I have never slagged off TM even the two seasons we finished bottom of SL. His tactics were evident when we blew Widnes off the park by peaking for the right game and the fact when we were relegated it was a record score for a relegated team - even though did not finish bottom. He always had to be given a chance when he had a team that he picked himself and I think we have the best squad since 1999 - if not better - time will tell.
