On the casforum site one of the posters has stated that waystone have begun the tendering process for teh ground works up at the GH site. He says this because the company he works for has been asked to submit a tender.

The thread was called "land up at GH". Its on the second page of the forum and the response comes from called "alf tupper"

The thread starts along the lines of - has something happend up at GH with regards to the earthworks being done. Stood here at the moment and it looks different compared to what it did last week.

I am sure that at the Civic Centre meeting SF said that anyone who wanted one, could have a refund.

If you anot happy with this then ask the club for a refund, which they will be happy to action.

In cynical BigAlf mode, surely this money should already have been in a separate account? How is there any way of knowing that the amount SF says has been collected and is to be moved is the true figure? Excluding interest (which I appreciate won't be much), than GBP 25k would only be 500 bricks bought.

Looking at the positivity around your club at the time the initiative was launched this number seems on the low side?

We're still waiting for the supermarket and economic conditions are changing all the time, which is making it harder. Could be 1 week or 5 years before a decision is made, hence the development of a plan B.

As far as a new WR goes, if the supermarket has as much urgency as you say they must really see it as a priority.
