I've just had a nosey at what you are offering via that membership document and I must say I think it looks very professional and I hope you manage to meet your target

I like the 'pack' that all the members get (nice gesture) and have often wondered why you get tickets rather than a card that would fit easily in your wallet. I also like how you have offered prizes for so many memberships sold and these are clearly identified (a car for 5,000!) The 'bronze' membership also seems a good idea so fans who can't make all the games can also feel part of the club.

Card would be a far better suggestion - only downside I can se is that if 4000 cards are issued theres bound to be someone who's chip is knackered.

Maybe we could nick a few of the ticket gates from Leeds train station!

Why do they need a chip in though? Just use regular turn styles and flash the card rather than hand over a piece of paper?

By using the chip system Cas Tigers will know how many people are in a certain stand. The number of Gold members in the main seating stand will also be able to be calculated.

Nick Fozzard deserves a lot of credit for membership package. The Bronze one in particular is an excellent idea.

My point was that a turn style with a counter on would do the exact same without the cost of implementing the electronic system, just show your card as you walk through.

They must be scared that some fans will pass it through the fence so all there mates get in for nowt.

Stop adults getting in with kids cards too which happens if there's nobody on the gate and it's just a machine.

If its same system we use at Bradford it will be a printed card with a unique barcode on it. Turnstile operators have handheld scanners and just scan the barcode. No chip or magnetic strip to get damaged and because everyone has a unique barcode club knows exactly which tickets have been used at matches and use the info in marketing emails etc. we had doubts about it when it came in but in reality it's been a good system and can't recall any issues with it.

I think security wise its also a good move by the club. We will know exactly who and how many are in the Wheldon Road end.

Just got my brother a bronze membership for Xmas...he'll probably be more giddy about the discounts at the food outlets in Xscape but its more money in the pot

Looking at the Wigan membership - the idea of bolts on seems a very good idea especially the electronic programs. No printing costs, no left over post game. Excluding the costs of design its basically a 100% margin.

Brilliant idea from the Wigan club and surely the way forward.

Looking at the Wigan TV deal when you buy a membership - the big selling point is getting full match coverage after 14 days of the game. So if you are a member and buy this "add-on" you would save money on buying the DVD's. Another great idea.

I've suggested the idea on the past for Cas and been laughed off by the usual folk on here who claimed it would be "too expensive" and "pointless".

VoD content online is the way to go, not DVD.

I was wondering about this Fully. We sometimes do a members draw at work for a season ticket. Would you be able to give a bronze membership as a prize ? Would 2 people be able to gain entry for one specific match on the back of a bronze membership ? I wasn't sure if the bronze package was for 1 persons entry to 2 different games. If this is possible we might be looking at buying 8 bronze packages (£400) worth to give out over the year.
