I see Phil Clarke has crawled out from under his rock with comments about the rule changes.

I didn't think much of him before, and although he's not rssponsible for his brother's actions as Solamona's agent, I have even more reason to dislike him.

How can Sky possibly keep this guy as an SL expert/pundit, when hiis family has possibly caused massive damage to the sport of RL? If nothing else, it makes us look even more of a joke than the wider media already thinks of us.

I may be wrong but I thought he was part of his brothers company. If so a conflict of interest surely? Even if he isn't it must be a major embarrassment to him and Sky when his brother is effectively asset stripping the game he commentates on by potential illegal means.

Don't agree that Phil Clarke's brothers actions should go against him when working for sky. That's harsh and to be fair, sky would get sued for unfair dismissal in an instant.

Is it that sale are that arrogant in their belief that they have done nothing wrong. Seems like they feel its a given that they will win if it ever gets that far.

What's more likely is that they've already allocated the value of their original offer to Cas in their accounts, so they're just chancing their arm here, to see if they can get him for nowt; if they lose, the money is already there.

Surely Solomona will have been in the UK on a work permit? that won't be valid for Union as he can not meet any criteria for a permit as he has no relevant experience in that sport, just deport him.

They will of said he is world class in league (evidenced by his appearance for Samoa) and that his skills are very much transferable to RU.

That has been mentioned by Danny Lockwood in League Express. His work permit is for RL - he is in effect an illegal alien !
