I know times are difficult both at the club and away from it as the country goes from one recession to another. We at Cas are in our recession and after many years of spin from RW we now have a breath of fresh air in SF who tells us as it is, whether we like it or not.

I appreciate that what we hear we may not like but I'm afraid we are in this mess and we the fans have two simple choices. We either stick with the club or we dont. Now I'm not going to preach on here to those who dont know which way to go but when we've followed the club through 2 relegations and travelled in the numbers we have to places like Barrow and Whitehaven then I personally didn't have a decision to make.

Just like I have done every season since I bought my first "Family" season ticket for the Centenary Season many years ago, I was at the club shop to buy my season tickets last wednesday morning and I hope all of you out there will simply get to the shop, club or online and do the same.

Went and got my silver membership Saturday. They were queuing out of the door! I hope this continues and we get to the 5000 mark.

I personally don't think we will make it to that amount, which is sad because had we had a good season I think things would be very different and fans outlook on the club's future would be massively different

I got my Silver Membership on Saturday. There was an eldely gentleman in front of me who was saying that he wanted to buy a Bronze Membership at 50 quid. He didn't need to get one because he is a life member but he wanted to help the club out and take his grand son to a couple of games. I know he might not read forums like this but if he did I would say to him that that was a fine gesture of the highest order.

It's that sort of commitment/contribution that makes you question whether you're personally doing enough and going that extra mile for your club.

Yes - sometimes you can sit back from it all and take it for granted that CT will always be there. The meeting last Tuesday night emphasized that that isn't the case and without "going that extra mile" we might not have a CT to follow.

That the reason I stay on this forum only Fully. I have been tempted a couple of times to join the Casforum but I won't be doing. It is quite on here at times but I prefer it that way.

I have been expecting the season ticket renewal pack + new membership pack details since last week. I thought that they would have been posted immediately following last weeks meeting.

I would have thought that sending the information through to the existing season ticket holders was imperative to get them to renew

As existing ST holders we too haven't been contacted regarding renewing. However as attendees at the Civic Centre (where emails were taken) we have been pretty much bombarded with reminders to sign up, despite the fact that we were among the first in the queue to get our silver memberships on the night.

Ive never bought a season ticket before as I can only make half of the home games, I have bought one for next year. Primaraly as I dont want the club to go under. It also means I'm well within my rights to have my say on the goings on at the club. It seems to me SF is trying bloody hard to sort out RW's mess.

When I get time I'll put it on here,he had a good few tales to tell did Pyeman senior,played in the early 80's if I remember rightly.

I have heard the membership card will be one that can be scanned on entry to the ground and also will be scanned on entry to the Wheldon Road end. Gold Membership cards will be scanned on entry to the main stand. Happy times.

Is it me or is it obvious that something will definitely go wrong with these cards/card scanners etc. You can just tell that something will break on matchday concerning these new electrconic things

We at HKR have been using cards for passes for a year or 3 now and you will get problems 1st game or 2 but then they should iron out.
