Just filled in the survey, gave them a piece of my mind. Wether they read it and take in some of the points I raised is another matter.

Who told the RFL about the Championship? Come on, next thing you know they'll be treating us like third class citizens instead of the fourth class they now treat us.

I think the RFL will get enough moans and wont listen anyway.They will do what they want and it is a waste of time the survey.

They're only putting the survey out so they can use the line "We consulted fans of the clubs blah blah blah"

Last time there was a survey you could vote on the names the leagues would take, the options were if I remember rightly

A- Championship 1 and Championship 2
B- Championship and Championship 1
C- Championship and National League 1

I still maintain the belief that "A" would have been better then what they went with, and dont believe "B" got more votes, It was already decided but a webpage with a few tick boxes on means they can say they've consulted the fans and its what people want

Not sure it will achieve much but have said I am sick of the RFL and the way they are destroying the game outside of SL. I also said the Toulouse adventure and the Rail Cup are pointless. It is nice to go to France but how much good is it doing Toulouse? Better they went back to the Elite 1.

I said maybe a combined Championship with a 20 team League with No Rail Cup or Playoffs thats 38 Games. Who finished top is Champion!
We play twice over easter and you could play a couple of games midweek as well like in the past and then the top 2 play off against the top 2 French Elite 1. The winners of Championship and Elite 1 having home advantage. The Final on a neutral ground. The winners get the chance to play the NRL team in a warm up the following year.

Maybe a lot of games but then we managed in the past and the lower teams would get bigger crowds than 150 as has happened this year. Its not an ideal solution but for me the championship teams need more games and less micky mouse comps. No doubt people will have other views but its just my thoughts anyway.

The problem you have with one league is that after half a dozen games around 40/50 % of teams will have basically nothing to play for , this will result in lacklustre displays , lower crowds turning up and potentially even clubs trying to release players to save wage bills , there is nothing wrong with the on field competitiveness of either league , the problems are mostly financial
