Just looking at photo's from last night as could not make it. Where are all the players like beswick etc etc, says on widnes forum that he has signed for them for next year.
Surely all the squad should of been there !!

THE ONLY PLAYERS MISSING WERE BESWICK, PATTS AND BANNISTER.
OUR TEAM IS NOT FULL TIME, AND PLAYERS DO HAVE JOBS AND OTHER COMMITMENTS.
THE PLAYERS WHO CAME LOOKED TO HAVE A REALLY GOOD TIME, AND MINGLED WELL WITH ALL FANS, YOUNG AND OLD, A GREAT IDEA, AND ONE THAT I THINK WILL HAVE HELPED THE CLUBS COFFAS.
A GREAT NIGHT AND WHOEVER MISSED IT MISSED OUT!
BESWICK IS ON A 2 YEAR CONTRACT
UP THE FAX AND THE GF CHAMPIONS 2010!!!

It was said by the club somewhere (blog?) a few days ago that the players are now officially on holiday, some will have had holidays booked at the end of the season with their familys, or other commitments on a monday night and not been able to make it, I know Nashy and Branighan were flying out to Australia today, so they only just got to go to the event.

95%. Lets look at that logically.
If we say the 17 man squad, then 95% would be 16.15 of the players, which means that 0.85 of the squad was missing.
If we say 20 of the squad, then 95% would be 19, which means only one wasnt available, and I know that at least Bannister, Beswick, Patterson and Aizu were not there 
Just messing. Some of the players will have had other commitments and the players who were there certainly made the evening a huge success.
I echo the sentiments of another poster, if FAXFAN1 says he was looking at a picture, where was he/she on the night????? |
