Yep, annual trip, been going for over thirty years now, not missed one since 1980, started going in 1978. Going Friday to Sunday.
It should be a better Final this year as for the first time since SL its not one of the Big 4 involved, they have monopolised it so much their fans we have noticed don't bother as much about it, they are blase.
Plus its a close call who will win it, my money would be on Huddersfield as they just have the edge with that defence!
Not a fan of them (due to them having all that favouritism when they finished bottom 3 times, Mr Ken Davys millions and the merger with Sheffield) but as they are the Yorkshire club I want Huddersfield to win as I cannot support Warrington.

Got some of the £10 tickets a few months ago.

On the 11.56 train from Wakey in the morning. Staying in a classy joint in Kings Cross - cant swing a cat, paper thing walls, but after a few beers its possible to sleep anywhere.

Not interested in this Final at all and to be fair I am losing my interest in the game overall due to the poor running of the game and how certain teams and comps are favoured over the rest. I used to watch SL on TV every week. This season have watched 2 games! To be honest I have no real interest in the game as Huddersfield are not good to watch and do not like them after what happened to Sheffield (Yes I know it was 10 years ago or so and time has moved on) and am no fan of watching the way Wire play so will likely not watch the game even on TV.

You have a point....didnt Hudds come bottom 3 times and stayed up on the strength of stadia. It does leave a bitter taste. Hope they win though and to be honest im more likely to watch this final than the usual boring Saints v Leeds. Think it makes a refreshing change and both teams deserve their place in the final based on the semi final performances...most of us would have thought Wigan v Saints.

I hope Huddersfield win, they've turned it around well in past few years from being whipping boys to finalists. Good luck to them. We'll have the league the league derby matches with them back one day, oh yes......

Oh sorry Not allowed to say our views on here unless it fits in with certain people. I have said why I will not watch it or even have any interest in it and why I am losing interest in the game as a whole. If you do not like that Tough. Thats my opinion and I know many fans from different clubs are of a similar opinion.

Well you should be able to say your views , what I would like to be enlightened about is .. As the RFL are so wrapped up in the expansion theory how come they allowed Huddersfield to swallow up Sheffield and leave them with nothing.When other so called expansion ares get lots of help from the RFL?

first of all, why are the giants bad to watch? Their performance in the semi was one of the greatest i've seen in many years, in defence AND attack. But i suppose we should carry a chip on our shoulder and hate them for being superleague, and the progress they have made since that debacle?
At the end of the day i watch rl because its good. Sod your soapbox politics. I'm going to enjoy the day and the excellent company of the rugby league community.

Not a spectacular final so far, but fairly exciting. The wire disipline is poor with constant daft penalties, whereas Huddersfield discipline excellent, so should be ahead. And Steve "I'm going to the video ref" Ganson does my head in. Can't he make any of his own decisions? He was even going to the vid ref for "non try related items".

The Wire pack have owned the Giants. Luke Robinson has had a mare of a game, IMO. Not the best final I've seen, but certainly the first with so many empty seats.

Bored stiff in the 2nd half. I suppose you have to give Warrington credit for their defence, but Huddersfield didn't exactly play defence busting stuff. Pretty clueless really, and lacking players of true quality to get them out of jail, they were always gonna struggle.
