I hate the bonus point system, it is an absolute waste, if it was any good it would be used in Superleague, Australia and International. The truth is it distorts the table.

Without the bonus point we would be lower in the league than we are, AND I still think it is wrong.

As I have said previously you could see a team loose 10 nil and still get a bonus point, which is absolute cr@p.

Was refering to some of your Fax friends who when thread started saying it was 'a disgrace' the BP system was cutting your...erm... lead at the top?

I think the bonus point rule is rubbish unless they change it to also favour attacking rugby. As they do in union.

Instead of the 3 win, 2 draw and 1 within 12, it should become

4 for a win
2 for a draw
1 for any side that scroes 6 tries
1 for losing within 6 points

Meaning a team that wins and scores 6 or more tries gets 5 pts. A team losing by 6 or less points and scoring six or more tries gets 2 pts. A low scoring draw gets 2pts but a high scoring draw could net you 3 pts. A close loss gets you 1pt and a loss by more then six nets you 0pts.

If those were the rules the table would look like this:

As I have said before, the margin should be reduced to 6 points with the losers point commeing from the winners. This would stop the team in the lead from switching off ,or maybe contriveing a result.
