Before I make my prediction here are a few interesting results for Batley at Home (Last 5)

However in their last three Batley have lost two and drawn one, so maybe their form has dipped just at the right time for fax. (Hopefully!!)



Fax have a big defensive problem right now, so i think it may come down to how fax defend up hill. Batley had a good time in the second half last year when they ran in plenty of tries down hill against us.

However that being said Fax have found their attacking force the last couple of games, if only in speradic spells.

Rhino's influence is on the wane like what happened at Salford. The players liked his "niceness" and enthusiasm at the start, but tactics involve plan A, plan A, plan A and if those tatics fail, then plan A. Rhino super fella but not good enough coach. Super MC will have done homework. And Batley will still be sore from the Haven match, will be bulldoggish first 20 then fall away. Fax to run out 42-16 winners.

I can't predict a loss - too painful even to think about.

It is possible that when the confidence comes back, it will come back big style and someone will suffer. I don't see that happening on "the slope" though.

Batley are great at upsetting the so called bigger teams however, over the years despite several scares the Mount has been good to us and I expect a return to form on thurs.

no matter what the score it cant possibly be more nail-biting than last years epic. the highlight of the year for me was Blacks last minute solo effort. Defence will win the game for us
