Morning all - my in-laws have just moved into a nursing home in Manor Heath Road. Are there any local amateur teams who play on a Saturday or Sunday in the local area?

Would be good to take the father-in-law as he misses going to the game being a Saints season ticket holder for years.

I know that the Shay is just up the road but unfortunately, I can't make it up through the week to take him to see them.

Yes, Irish play on the moors next to crossley heath school and Kings X Park play at Old Crossleyans off Birdcage Lane.

Yes we are at Irish, training Tuesdays and Thursdays 6.30 on bottom rugby pitch on Saville Park
