I feel really sorry for Leigh ,now their much awaited Joe Williams has been unable to get a visa and will not be arriving.You would think they would stop this anouncing of signings, untill they were absolutly "nailed on".It just makes them look ridiculeous somebodys geting overexcited and talking of signings before they should be.

I think most of the signing of players rumours are started by Paul Rowley himself and unfortunatly he quotes them in the "daileys" however I do not blame him for the Millward rumour,could well be Neil Kelly though that started that one

I wouldn't mind seeing a few more of these rumours about fax players on the leigh board. They seem to sign for us within two days of being on there. Do you think we use the threat of being sent to leigh as a hard line in bartering on contracts??

You see what gave it away for me was his first interview;

'So Joe, what's it feel like to be playing your rugby for Leigh Centurions?'

'Who are they? First I've heard of it!'

Very dissapointing to be knocked back twice in a season for a quota player , especially when other clubs seem to be able to get things done a lot easier than us

But we will just get on with trying to remain in this league and hope for better ' Luck ' in the future when we try to recruit from abroad

Don't worry Starbug, you have signed two brothers who apparently are the very best in ground maintainance in Mexico. Hosey and Hosebee.

I know that Paul said a few unsavoury things about us when he left for Clec-hudders but all in all he was an exceptional player for us for a good few years...its all water under the bridge and i personally wish him luck and hope that he can sort their problems out.

Shame for the Leigh fans who expected good times with the LSV and sadly are being stabbed with many pains from the people running the club! Leigh have much potential but sadly the people running the club are Useless and make MASSIVE mistakes which keep pushing the club further away from going forward on and off the pitch. I hope somebody new will take over as the fans are being unfairly treated IMHO.

You won`t find me arguing about how good a player Rowley was, it was his attitude that was his downfall and unless he has "grown up" a great deal,(which I doubt with having his dad with him) it will be his downfall again. He spent a good deal of his time training seperatly from the team whilst at Fax.
However I do not bear him any ill will either and I certainly wish Leigh all the best as I admire the club tremendously , for the size of the town they have produced many great players over the years.
I do think they have made a mistake with Rowley as head coach however I would love to be proven wrong.

I agree, as a small town (and im not taking the pee if Leigh fans read this) they have my total respect with what they have given to rugby league over the years. I do also think that Rowley should have stayed in the background for a little longer to gain the experience required as a coach at this level.
