Donny has been taken over by some business men and they have Super League in thier sights.

Not enough Interest in Donny unfortuatley, Even last season when they were going well they weren't able to draw in decent crowds.

The Donny club needs some stability. Until they get that they will find it hard to progress.

Indeed. As for the freebies and promo's - if they have then it's still a good result. Some RL clubs can't give their tickets away for love nor money.

Hasn't even been mentioned on Radio Sheffield's sports news which is indicative of the mountain they face

Blades, Owls, Donny Rovers, Donny Knights, Steelers etc etc are all higher profile than either Eagles or the Lakers who in turn are only slightly above the Sharks (bouncyball)

And Donny Rovers only pull in around 8000 in the FL Championship - its not a sporting town unfortunately and never will be

Any club would be foolish not to give the impression that they have SL ambitions for the future. How else would they attract sponsorship, let's face it, clubs cannot possibly survive on ten or twelve home fixtures per season with crowds as low as theirs.

And yet your club has basically banned all reference to SL and 2012 until that time , that is the correct attitude in my opinion

There's plenty of references made to our SL ambitions through our intentions with our stadium and the need to win trophies. Walking blindfolded and by stealth in the run up to 2012 would be counterproductive.
