From where I stand, Malcolm appears to have applied common sense - an attribute not liked these days.

You are not the only club with this issue, there are others who have some right **** holes in positions beyond their capabilities...

They are extremely detrimental to club finances and it beats me how they keep their jobs.

It also undermines the on-field stuff as the fans get hacked off when trying to support the club through purchasing fan wear.

But as we are Yorkshire folk - we won't be ripped off.

Hope its sorts itself out.

we may be turning it around on the field but FFS is there any chance this club, just for once can all pull in the same direction to take us forwards instead of eaither backwards or stagnating.

Apparently the shop had without any trouble being providing the club with over 1k a week only directors will know the exact income . For aclub like fax that is a serious income stream they haven't had for years . I found that if I had jumped to a conclusion too quickly the easiest way to rectify matters with staff particularly ones you actually need and want to keep is to admit you got it wrong say sorry and if the income from that shop is remotely like the above come up with a solution damned quickly along with a cuddle and pint for malc. Which is actually what the club needs right now.

Even if the shop is taking over 1k a week the out goings far outweigh this. The shop won't turn a profit this year hence the argument with one party wanting to drop prices and another party knowing that is not feasible. The only problem this year is that those losses have to be covered by the club.

If I recall Malcolm ran the shop once before and was asked to allow someone else to do it, so this may be a repeat of his way not working with others.

Please do not forget that the directors, and Mark, all do this for no payment they all have the best interests of the Club at heart ----the question has always been about their competence...or lack of it.

When Marshall goes, we're really that close to a relegation/reformed club playing out of Ovenden Park with a hired golf stand, with the current board of directors.

What? We're in with a chance of top four, just made an exciting signing, have already beaten a couple of full time teams and the sun's out! And they say I'm pessimistic!

Well Greg 1k a week was certainly not something that you produced in 5 years . Outgoings my backside .. Certainly for you it was a rent free shop that you couldn't run what outgoings did you have ?

Yes amazing just a mention of the shop making bucket loads of money for the club by Malcolm does the trick to stir bfg and inoffski 1 over the breakfast table. It is a rent free shop. The club always paid the CMBC rent en block for all facilities it used at the shay which ncluded the shop. The shop owner paid nothing to CMBC. ask Malcolm and I am sure he will gladly tell you the facts and how he has made money but the previous owners failed . .What's also amazing is that the club doesn't go through one player agent now. Thank god when you watched Gaz Moore yesterday( yes through the same one agent) I bet there are hundreds from yesterday gutted (NOT) that he left!!Scott M couldn't stop grinning all match at him .especially after the QLT score He couldn't resist a cheeky chuckle at gaz Left clutching thin air.

Ignoring the shop stuff where your facts are way off, what on earth are you talking about regarding player agents? It seems you talk in riddles that nobody can understand. Are you saying we no longer deal with player agents? You can't be saying that because its obviously not true. So what are you saying?

The agents are chosen by the players. Dealing with one agent will severely curtail your recruitment.
