2 - Bob B - some awesome tackles in defence and tried filling Penkys place with some quick breaks from the play the ball.

1 - Luke B - linking up well with Ben and always a danger to the opposition with his quick thinking.

All three B's and a bit of a B performance from the team, but another win despite Mr Halloran's worst efforts. We weren't allowed to play our game and never really played to our best, so let's move on and bring on Fev on Thursday, let's hope for a decent referee for a change ( prob end up with Ronnie now).

Branighan great 2nd half

Ref was but wish everyone would stop getting obsessed with the man in the middle.
We were poor 1st half and the Ref had nowt to do with it, the scoreline reflected the contest.

Dont matter who the ref is on Thursday, if we play well we win!

not obsessed with the ref, just saying we never got going and that was partly down to his decisions as well as our own mistakes.

Well, im ready for a barage of abuse, but, I thought we looked a very controlled side without Penky, and if Said hadn't had have had his unfortunately usual stupendous rushes of blood, we may have won more convincingly.
We have some good players when the blend is right, percentages and control allows our flair players to win games, Simples!
Barrow won last year with a very unspectacular style and Featherstone are doing well with exactly the same formula. I was impressed with the appreciation the crowd showed for a solid professional win. Well done Fax. Can we see the light!

BUT Penky is a flair player!

He came on at Leigh and within minutes he put Said clear through the middle, he's exactly the type of player Dewsbury lacked today.

Strong performance overall, not great in the first half, not helped by some questionable refereeing decisions, but for once absolutely kept their heads and built towards a resounding victory in the end. Strong defence throughout.

3pts Branighan, his chasing of his own kick to force a drop out won my 3 points

2pts Bannister, coming good as he regains full fitness, some of his tackles were bone shaking

1pt Black, showed glimpses of why he is the best scrum half in this league
