Yes he’s not perfect but he has delivered above his budget in my opinion and I can’t think of somebody who would do a better job, look at who Leigh had there this season and still didn’t deliver.

The point I was making before with regards to Sheridan was that he has been around the Championship and Powell for many years and is highly respected. If he could be tempted as a Head Coach, personally I'd love him at Fax...

What I was saying about Anderson was in comparison to Powell at the time when Fev appointed him. I'm sure had Fax given Powell the job, most on here would have bemoaned such an appointment. He was at the time deemed a bit of a joke and a failure as a coach after his stint at Leeds (and then in Union) and it raised many eyebrows.

Given the right environment and culture a coach can thrive. I think RM has taken us as far as he can. There has been little improvement and key positions that clearly in need of improving but continually left as they are despite being offered several opportunities to bring players in within our budget previously.... These are things he is still ignoring as I understand he has no plans to bring any half backs in despite it being obvious to most that's it's where we are currently short, along with a strike centre, Attacking FB and a nasty snarling prop forward.

Believe me or not but RM is one of, if not the best paid coach in the Championship so I'd like to think we could attract a decent calibre of coach if we were ever looking.

I just think we've stood still and I like to see things change.

RM has gone above and beyond and earned whatever salary he is on.

We've beaten teams that we have no right to beat and we've positioned well above where paper tells us we should place.

RM is the best coach we've had in a long time so b***ocks to bashing him. His recruitment has been an issue, not his coaching.

We need some real quality signings and the money to go full-time - if we don't progress AFTER we've managed to get both THEN he should be questioned.

SIGH ………………….. maybe we should have Paul "Mr Thicky" Rowley as coach. NOT! Nor Cheshire Cat man. RM is a superb coach and anyone who says otherwise is as thick as a very chunky plank.

Robbo will popular with the fans and will be an upgrade for you over Saltonstall because he's more reliable and less error-prone. Does his best work from acting half, not very big but quick off the mark and usually gains positive yardage. Not the type of wing to produce lots of long-range tries but generally consistent and reliable (had his only really poor defensive performance that I can rememaber against you at the Shay).

Strange one that. After all, "recruitment" isn't exactly rocket science. You only need the bare minimum of RL knowledge to recognise whether a player is good or not, and I find it quite "unbelievable" that someone who has played and coached RL professionally has "no idea" about reruitment.

Fuzzy, ever thought it might be the way he 'sells' himself as coach, Sure he can spot class players,however were there not rumblings previously that it was his way or the highway? Players know fax is a sound club, but if the coach is not open to new ideas or letting players speak/interpret his words on the field and given a little freedom to 'do their thing' then teams soon get found out !

See Steve Tyrer has signed a new 2 year contract with an option for 3....jury's certainly out on that one for me...

Top goalkicker,mediocre centre means he is worth it just, for me. It is not easy to get a high % kicker in the positions that you wish to strengthen,let's see what else we get,I am waiting to be excited!!!
