This might seem like a strange time to pose this question as I thought BM had one of his better games lately against Bradford but should we be looking for another match day captain. I've thought for quite a while now that we aren't seeing the best of him, he's obviously not alone in that, and wonder if relieving him of the captaincy would help him back to his previous form. Its not a major thing but with the way things have been going so far it might help us turn the tide before the season is totally gone. If we did who would be a replacement? I thought Jacob but he's not been on the pitch long enough to warrant it, not all his fault I know, maybe Matty Gee now he's settled in after last season?
There isn't a serious candidate-which is the problem in itself..
As for Jacob..he seems to have had his offload game coached out of him and often cuts a frustrated and penalty laden figure...so a big no there.
Watching the games it is pretty clear that Fairbank is your traditional type captain where as Moore is non traditional as he was picked more for his actions rather than his words. We have a bit of a unique situation at the moment where by our game actually improves when our captain goes off and Inman comes on. Im hoping going forward we see more of the norm with our 2 hookers which hopefully will allow Moore to get back to his best because he has been worked to the max previously playing hooker then moving to loose during games.

When Brandon got the role i said i thought it should of gone to Jacob instead and stand by that. If not him what about Ben kavanagh he is playing as well as most this season and we do also have some experience in the backs too who could take the role on.
