With 30% of the votes, the explosive Australian Robbie Beckett (not Andy Hobson) finished top of the poll. Although he only played for one solitary season in 2002, Beckett soon became a fans favourite at the Shay with an effective combination on the right flank with fellow Aussie David Woods.
Not too far behind Beckett was Fax's current longest serving player and home town boy James Haley. Since his debut against Batley in 2004, Haley has been the mainstay of his hometown team whether on the wing or centre. A handy goalkicker as well Haley has done tremendousy to recover from his knee reconstruction in 2007 and has always been near the top of the try scoring charts.
