First game of the new season and first game back at Owleton - Rochdale Hornets come to town for a 2pm ko on Sunday.

Hopefully we'll start the season off in style in front of a decent crowd. Looking forward to seeing Ford and Hope in a competitive environment to see what they have to offer.

That was my initial thought, once I knew Wednesday's match was off. Does raise a question of when it can be rearranged for though? Its either midweek sometime or one of the dates set aside for a Challenge Cup latter round I'd think?

It won't be anytime soon that's for sure - if it's going to be midweek it will be in the summer when the days are longer.

Edit: to save Griff being pedantic, I am fully aware a day is 24 hours whatever time of the year it is.

Nonsense. The longest day is the last Sunday in October. It has 25 hours in it.



I'd go for Round 5 day - if we're both out of the Cup. Alternatively, as ESO says, sometime in June.
