I would hazard a guess that Warren Jowitt won't be wearing his old school tie as the match isn't at MOM. A close call - but Eagles should win.

Ah yes! I'd forgotten about Jowitt's toys out of the pram last year. Maybe we should go to Dewsbury in school uniform.

I do enjoy beating Dewsbury and not because of teir fans, I've always thought that they are OK. But following the Shuddersfield debacle the Dews chairman was one of the opponents to Sheffield being allowed back in.

Thought we were excellent first half, few more errors second half as conditions worsened but still a very accomplished performance.

Thought the left hand side was brilliant with Knowles and Menzie, that could be a partnership that really flourishes. Knowles joked in the sponsors lounge afterwards that it's a lot easier to play when five defenders are drawn to Menzie and he only has one to deal with!

Onwards and upwards, into second place ahead of this weekend's games and hopefully we can carry this momentum on against Batley next week.

Great 1st half, fell off a bit after the break but the deteriorating conditions didn't help. 4th try was spectacular from Q starting it in our in goal area to Nev finishing it off in theirs! Fantastic.

Spot on ESO, the left side was superb and MK deservedly got MOTM pushed close by Menzie. Simon Brown was on form with his kicking. Hendo was tireless with his tackling. The bigger pitch does seem to suit our style and pity that the curse of Paul Hudson caused it to pee it down as the game progressed, going by the flags on the stand the wind was fairly strong too.

Completely agree about Nev Morrison's try, try of the season so far!

Enjoyed the game,1st half very good with Menzie and Tony having stormers on the left,Could be a Hay,Ford,McClarren partnership in the makings down the left with Vinny also,2nd half the heavens opened and it's only human nature to step off the gas when so far infront,but you can't grumble at that scoreline.I really feel the league needs promotion though as other teams are just treading water in this league,Someone please bang the drum for it,Or 2nd thoughts leave the drum at home.
