Hi all.
I don't know whether you're aware but we at Leigh Centurions will be doing a live match radio broadcast from the Don Valley Stadium when we play you on Sunday 19th Feb.
The broadcast will start approximately 30 minutes before kick off, at which time the radio player will become available on www.leighlife.com. You will know we are on air when you see the radio box, and when you see this, you just need to click play.
Those who want to tune in on their phones/tablets etc need to download either 'TuneIn radio' for iPhones etc or 'A Online Radio' for Android devices, just go to 'add new channel' and the URL for the channel is radio.leighlife.com/centurions. Unfortunately you won't be able to access the channel until the radio is switched on but I will post on here pre-match when we are live so that you can find us.

We will also be doing 'shout outs' live on the radio so if you want a mention, just post your message on this board, LeighLife.com or on our twitter page @leighcenturions and we'll do our best to include it.
We have done quite a few broadcasts now and they've all been very successful so if you can't get to the game, please listen in. |

We've done 4 broadcasts now (3 friendlies and Barrow last week) and they've been very successful.
The coverage we receive on conventional radio is dire in our area and obviously it depends on whether there is a football or super league game on before they'll even think of covering a Leigh game, so we at Leighlife decided to join forces with the Centurions to provide uninterrupted 80 mins coverage of all our home games and a few away games where facilities permit. The Don Valley stadium is one of those places.
We are self sufficient in that all we need is the space to set all our gear up and an electricity supply near by, unfortunately not all grounds can supply this which is unfortunate because ideally we'd like to cover all games, home and away.

It's not really a bar - more of a kiosk that as ESO says sells Carlsberg and Tetleys I think.
Opposite end to the food kiosk.
I think Eagles were in Super League that last time the pipes were cleaned.
I can't comment on the quality of the bovril
