ESO - there was a round of matches which were all played 'on the road' so we got Halifax in Northampton. All I remember about that game was both sides playing in blue and white!

We were allocated the fixture in an early version of Magic Weekend. The games were all televised and played over three weeks. Gates from all the games were pooled and we got a twelfth of the surplus.  we did very well out of it financially.
Sixfields is a nice little ground on the edge of town with easy links to the M1. |

Went to Sixfields a couple of years ago to watch Wednesday in a friendly. I remember Wednesday got a penalty at the end I was stood and I then videoed Francis Jeffers tapping it straight to the keeper.
At the other end there was a big hill behind the small stand where about 50 people were stood watching the game for nowt.
