I say throw the book at him. There's people suggesting life bans and the sort, I think that's a bit extreme, but certainly a 9 or 10 game ban should snap this streak out of his system.

6 month ban. And whilst we're on the subject, it's stupid handing out bans in an International match that can be served in a pre season friendly. Something that the RL authorities need to sort out. Look at Football, if you get sent off in an international match, you get banned from international matches. Sent off in a Champions League game? Banned from the next Champions League game(s).
International matches aren't played nearly often enough for that to happen.
I agree you shouldn't be allowed to serve the ban in friendlies, but any competitive game would be the way to go. IMO. Six game ban = miss first six games of NRL season (in Issac Luke's case).
i find his admission disturbing,we all love our teams and country with a passion but to go out and try to cause injury to an opposing player well i cant see how he can justify his behaviour.the game is hard enough without this!!!.
