I am a Leigh fan and was just wondering what you thought about us today? i feel there is much more too come from sheffield than what was there today and you will be comfortably making the play offs.

I thought you were outstanding, as I said in the other thread the best team I think I've ever seen at this level. I'm not going to repeat everything I said in the match thread but basically you were very good

Clinical performance, though as per usual indifferent refereeing gave you a few tries that should have been ruled out (including the video referee). Mind you nowadays the same can be said about most games and most teams.

I honestly didn't think the referee had too bad a game, could've called a couple more forward passes but that's about it imo, certainly better than Thaler was against St Helens. He certainly didn't affect the result put it that way, we were beaten by a far, far better side.

Agree with ESO.

Thomason along with Hewer are the best refs in our league IMO.

Damn! I agree with Bartholomew as well.

Hewer is rather inconsistent though, sometimes he does a really good job and other times he leaves me baffled (Batley away) but he's certainly not the worst. Hicks was the best but he's moved on to bigger and better things.

All refs are rubbish and so are franchises!!!!

Hewer is deaf as a post. He couldn't hear the hooter last year against Halifax. Never gave a thought to why a bloke on the far side of the field might kick the ball across field on second tackle.

Same for me when the hooter went at Fev I noticed the players carried on playing.

Turns out the noise was not the hooter but a screaming woman in Fev's main stand.
