Big signs of jealousy and a lack of knowledge of which towns around the Featherstone area actually favour Rovers over their super league neighbours, maybe Fev don't have a pit any more but they do have a home of their own & why do you have an image that a sports club has to be in a big town or city, Sheffield is the 4th or 5th bigest city in the country yet they do't get the same support as a pit village team.

The same towns, of course, also supply Castleford with their support. I'd struggle to convince anyone that Castleford had mega-huge crowds from this catchment area.

Of course Fev get support from elsewhere - theres goole and selby just down the road the potential for filling post office road is obviously there for the asking - but come on this is super league we're talking about you need to be looking at the prospect of a crowd of10 k upwards otherwise you'll be going down the Bradford/ Salford route very quickly. Why don.t you just merge with Cas and have done with.

I think you need to look at the crowds in the super league (Not many get 10k week in week out) I'm not a Fev fan for a start (Hull FC) and i could always say why don't you merge with
