I can see there being only one home win this weekend from this set of matches.

I don't think it would be too unfair to say its been a bit of a disappointing start to the season with only Albi put away to date.

2nd bottom is not where we would have anticipated being at this point, so there is much work to do.

Another mixed run of results with Toulouse the only win for St Esteve.

Whether this means all the best French players are now in our squad and ready for Superleague an the cycle is starting again we shall see.

Things are starting to pick up domestically.

Its been a funny old season for St Esteve and one round left see us 5th with similar points to Avignon who most would say have under achieved. www.catalansdragons.com/en/calendrier-elite/ www.catalansdragons.com/en/classement-elite/ From the highlights we have seen some decent play and some poor play and whether that means there is no new crop of French youngsters coming through to follow up the last generation I think we might need some time to see. I suppose there is a bigger context and a greater good with St Esteve (and Toulouse for that matter) with Elite 1 being the development area for players.
