| I am going to the game at Widnes and wonder if anyone can tell me where the Dragons fans (if any) will be in the stadium. Had a look on their website and it's either general north or general south. Been to a few away games and always end up in the thick of the home support. Would be nice to be with any other fans who happen to be going.

| I shall be going, but Widnes is the only ground I have not been to in the past so I am not sure about the geography.I shall wear my Dragons scarf so we may meet. My behaviour is not perfect as I think that some of the players, all French I fear, are not and never will be up to what is required. Some of the u19 team ,which beat Wigan recently, may well be the real deal, but French players have succeeded the idiotic flower of French chivalry in past battles,eg. Marignano, who charge mindlessly, cannot adjust to reality and have little grasp of the need or means of sound defence.Yes I am talking about Pelissier ,Duport and Escare.

| Having watched the u19 team simply throw away the game at Huddersfield ,which should have been won easily I shall reserve judgement. The general truth is that when the game is tight we mess up.

| So it comes down to this .Unless Wigan beat St Helens we may squander a huge advantage and lose our place in the play offs. So I will be making the 7 hour there and back trip . How has this happened? Injuries have been vital ,but so have a large number of unforced errors. Will we get the injured back on sunday? Will the team get a grip? So much tension to endure. In the end despite the massive improvement between match 2 and match 18 it's the same as always. May add that unlike various people on the French site I do not blame either Monsieur President or the Coaching staff.

| French site now thinks only Broughton will be back and that Richards Taylor and Mason will be out. Have we just been unlucky or is there a problem with the medical staff and-or malingerers? If St.Helens win on Friday that will be the end of the road ,I think.Team is now looking something like Escare- Broughton ?? Duport- oh no- and Yaha- Gigot Albert -Casty Pelissier Bousquet -Garcia-I hope- Horo Baitieri. Plus Maria Navarrette Da Costa and god knows who.Another defeat looks certain.
It is a good job we lost the Cup match.

| The bad run needs to end and end now.
Lose this and I think we will amble on to the end of the season.
Win it and I hope we can build something for the next phase of the campaign.

| French site on next year. Duport is close to signing a 2 year deal-I trust you will accept my modified rapture.
Inu will sign a new deal. Bousquet and Broughton will sign for an extra year to 2018.Mason will leave. Pelissier and the club have not started negotiations. Bosc and Mounis will be involved with the u19 team--I hope they will also be kept fit as utility players. There are rumours, which I cannot believe, that Leeds want Escare.Nothing about new players eg B.Stewart.I presume Elima will leave.

| Latest re fitness. Broughton o.k. Tests today for Carney Stewart Taylor and Bosc. Aiton o.k. but has been out for 16 weeks and needs to get match fit.All the other invalids plus Richards and Mason are definitely out. I suspect that if St. Helens lose tonight our squad may suddenly change.

| A promising prop in my opinion, but not up to superleague standard. The team looks a lot better. I hope that Garcia plays in the forwards.

| I was hoping for a Romano debut to stop Garcia playing in the centres. Belmas is a surprising call-up, wasn't expecting him for about 2-3 years but good luck to him.

| No it did not.It was 10 times worse.I have been watching the team for 10 years and this was the worst performance I have seen. o.k the ref gave them umpteen dodgy penalties and failed to see a blatant knock on just before their crucial third try,but the capitulation that followed was shameful.
We currently have 2 basic problems. The first is our utter hopelessness under the high ball-Yaha excepted. This was the cause of their first 2 Tries. Secondly we have 2 centres who cannot or will not pass the ball. Our wingers received no passes from our centres during the whole game. The return of Garcia has been a disaster. He is not a centre. How can our backs score tries in these circumstances? In addition we lack guile and skill, keep on rushing out of the line, are baffled in defence by the simplest dummy and make loads of unforced errors.
Marks out of 10 ; Gigot 4 Slow to make decisions and bad under the high ball, Broughton 4 let in a soft try from a high ball Garcia 2 Duport 2 Yaha 6 Carney 5 Albert 3-the opposition ran directly at him I am afraid. Casty 4 Pelissier 4 Taylor 8-our 1 ray of sunlight Stewart 5 Horo 4 Baitieri 4Well below his best Plus Bousquet 6 Maria 5 Navarrette 4 Dacosta 3. During the last quarter Widnes ran rings round our defence. I don't yet know who missed the crucial tackle for the 4th try. I fear that our season is now over. We had a lot to play for today and Widnes did not, but we were simply not good enough.

| The morning after. What can we do? We start with 3 matches against teams who have beaten us recently.
I think that Duport and Garcia must be dropped immediately unless it can be shown that playing with 2 extra props works.Escare must come back-I know he has many weaknesses-and Gigot moved to centre . On the left hand side we should play Richards at centre and Yaha on the wing.
All the photos of training shows us concentrating on tackles. Do we ever vary this to prepare for our opponent's known strategies? The backs should practise dealing with the high ball for at least an hour a day.The forwards-not Mason-should be given 4 days rest. Some of them looked very tired yesterday. Finally We could do with Myler and Aiton in crucial positions where we are currently not good enough
In my head I think that nothing will work and we shall continue to lose games. Any rational person who was there yesterday will think this. But Hope springs eternal. I am ,however, not going to waste another £500 pounds by going to Perpignan in August.

| Can't disagree with any of the above. Heads seem to go down after Carney failed to convert the try - how on earth did he miss from there?! Very disappointing performance and can't see us winning any more games if we don't buck up our ideas.

| Having watched resume I would like to reduce Gigot's score to 2 for his multiple faults during their second try,and Garcia,s to one for helping gift them the first try. I still think there was a knock on during the build up to their crucial third try.Maria and one other missed a tackle for their 4th try.
I would welcome views on the role of a centre in Rugby league.

| To recycle an old story about Eddie Merckx from 1969 the team ,pulled by a lorry ,is pulling Duport and Garcia up a hill. And Dave Taylor? He is pulling the lorry.

| The last game I attended was Saints in Perpignan a month or so ago. Afterwards, I concluded from what I had seen that this team may just be the real deal. We were fitter, stronger, and constantly dangerous. And we seemed to have plenty more in the tank.
Since then, we've lost every game. Saints, the exact opposite. I can't see us winning a game unless Laurent makes the changes outlined by Catalanglais above.
