| Hello!
There is a strong rumour of Gadwin Springer signing for us over here at Cas according to a few rumours in a French newspaper and over here around town.
Would this be likely to happen? I thought he was very impressive against us earlier this year and thought he would be a good prospect for the club.

| Done deal. He's unhappy with the lack of gametime and received a pitiful offer from the club in comparison to the amounts being paid to ineffectual overseas players. Eloi Pelissier is also unhappy and looking to leave due to only playing for 20 minutes a match despite being one of the best hookers in the league this season. The club really needs to reassess the way it treats its home-grown players, I think Guasch just assumed that they would accept being treated badly and offered low salaries because they are French. Hopefully losing a top prospect like Springer will open his eyes.
Benjamin Garcia has also signed for Penrith Panthers although I'm not sure the club could've done anything to keep him.

| Pala is terrified of the high ball,a poor tackler, and not well positioned in defence.his undoubted attacking skills cannot make up for this.Springer ,while not a good as some think is a very good prospect and the club should keep him.

Strengths: Everything
Weaknesses: This world is simply too small for someone so mighty

| Hello again. Springer hs spent most of his time in the reserves and French fans think he should be in the 1st team.I disagree. The only senior prop I would omit for him is Lima. Springer's general reading of the game leaves a lot to be desired and he finds it difficult to bring other players into the game. Perhaps by playing superleague he will improve. Note how Escare has regressed this year with regular games. The general criticism of M.Guachis laughable. There is no doubt that he wants to promote French rugby league and French players. Some of these players should take a good look at themselves and their "flash harry " approach at the expense of the fundamentals such as taking responsibility for the high ball-Yaha is exempt from this criticism- tackling properly and not leaving huge defensive gaps instead of blaming the staff and management for not ignoring these fundamental defects so prevelant in the French game.Good luck to Springer ,but he is not yet ready for superleague. On the same issue French fans do not understand the superiority of Henderson to Pelissier. Just look at the second Hull try on Saturday and Pelissier's hopeless attempt to stop it for the grim reality.

What about Henderson's penalty concession and then pathetic attempt at a tackle that directly lost the game against Warrington? This after he was brought on for Pelissier who had completely turned the game, scored one try and set up another during his 15 minutes on the field. You can't blame the French players but the ignore the faults of the Australians.
