Tell thi summat boss, t'old Mitchell Stringer needs another talking to. Aston brought in Liam Higgins in at Sheffield I'm sure to show Stringer that Wet look Gel and White boots just don't go. Bugger me if he didnt drop in at acting half once as well. pass out were bluddy awful though.

That game last Thursday, Higgins, complete with props milk bottle legs was a shining example of what a prop should be wearing in 2011 (or any year for that matter).

No gimmies in t'union SJ, Brett McDermott has already got an early shout in for player ot' year, he had a 6 match ban before t'season proper started. Liam Higgins showing t'others way at Sheffield and thats wi out forgetting Tonks and Dickens at fev..........................and Big Jim's lad is a Leigh now too.

It's going to be a good old battle for t'championship prop ot' year thats for sure.

yeh marv ,there will be some good battles as usual in the props union this season - for me Brendan has also beefed out - he did a lot of pe-season work in aussie (plus working on a building site with his dad who's a builder) and was in the running for a season with a SL outfit.He was very close to signing on the dotted line.Pity he doesn't have the support of Griffi this season tho' that's taking nothing away from Jerome Gout & Antoni Maria who have supported well.

Jeez, he was already a big bopper.




a few people have mentioned Maria at the back end of last year, I've only seen him once, at Barrow and he didnt stand out greatly (might have even been playing 2nd row) but as you say TO had Griffi then.

Looking forward to seeing TO this year, theres still a bit of a wait until they go to Barrow though so i might have to get down the M6 somewhere after this wedding.
