I think farrar needs to stay at 6 for at least a match or 2 before bosc hits form , looked a little heavy on his feet and a little lost , but normal .

great game and well deserved considering the makeshift line-up - Thomas at FB isn't a bad idea maybe as it looks like Clint isn't improving as quickly as expected - yesterdays performance showed real character, win,lose or draw and a great effort from ALL the boys and credit too for TR - well done Scotty for the drop.
One real positive to come out of this win,according to Greg Mounis if I recall is that the players will now shave those ridiculous moustaches which they vowed to do if they beat Hudds.

the Hudds lads looked a forlorn lot when they left and Scott Grix reckons his team were 'surprised' at the strength and determination shown by the Catalans - a great tribute from a fine player and nice guy.

yeh,quite agree but these changes were really forced on TR,what with injuries to the first choicers like Sa,Greensheilds & maybe Millard etc
but it WAS great to see the french lads coming through and showing the character etc - thought they were brilliant !

even so more the best win with the late changes, especially Menzies pulling out at the last minute .

yeh,he reckons he did his hamstring in training - hope he's fit for Leigh cos' Catalans will need his experience against a decent side

anyways,how come Perpignan city centre was empty/devoid of Hudds fans after the game? didn't any of them stay in Perpignan ? there wasn't a single Hudds fan sitting outside Le Café de la Bourse

30 in Perpignan in total and 3 buses from Spain straight back after the match. Perpignan office of tourisme , dragons need to get it sorted , as its less and less rrrrr , 5 yrs ive been telling them .

couldn't believe the FFR had allowed FCL v Pia to be played at 1530 of the same day as a Catalans game at 1830 !!! - totally stupid planning which probably cost the Catalans at least 1000 fans !

also,the french GF in Narbonne is the same day as the TO13 v Hunslet game,different times but totally impossible for RL fans to see both games - just bad organisation from the FFR IMO

Folk I've spoken to are accepting of the fact the better side on the night won and wondering what the issue is with them playing teams that start with a C. Lost to Cas, Crusaders and now Catalans.

as i said on our forum,it was the quietest i have ever seen perpignan,usually there's a good number of us in perpignan but this year i think 30 was about right.after the game we were in place republique outside bar britz (?) only 6 of us though,whereas last year there was a good 30 or so after the game.
the problem is definately finance, most of our supporters opted for all inclusive deals on the costa brava as no doubt dave will know having organised some of them, they came to perpignan saturday pm and went back straight after the game,there is very limited options now for perpignan,the BMIbaby flights are very expensive and with ryanair pulling out of girona, only carcassonne,barcelona and montpellier are really suitable but the costs were also quite high.it's a shame that more people are abandoning perpignan for spain now but understandable given the costs of flights, some people paid the same for a week on the costa brava as we did for 3 days in perpignan.

could the RFL,airlines,tourist office and clubs maybe get together and get some affordable flight/accomodation packages together to encourage more people to stay in perpignan rather than spain?

on the game, a deserved win for the dragons,their determination in the 2nd hal won them the game, we were sloppy and failed to take our chances and paid the price.
and as usual the dragons supporters and locals were fantastic company!
