The team has potential but at the moment they seem incapable of going for 15 minutes without somehow shooting themselves in the foot. Another two interception tries and a couple more missed opportunities taken and that could have been a win. Dureau reminds me a bit of Laurent Frayssinous, flamboyant and at times creative with the ball but prone to costly mistakes in both attack and defence. Sa is a carthorse and should be used in the back row, or shipped off. I can't remember him doing anything of note since he's been here.

| An improved performance by the boys not helped by a couple of unlucky breaks. How good is Menzies! Was dangerous every time he had the ball. And to think we could have had Rangi Chase but for a Mr Walters preferring Shane Perry to him!  |

Having seen our first match against Quins and then this one against Tigers, we certainly seem to have improved going forwards.
The defence seems creaky under pressure though.
As has been pointed out, if Blanch and Menzies had finished better we would have been right in the match.
I am not as disconsolate as I thought I might be. Let's hope things get better in the coming weeks.
