I wouldn't go that far. They were a lot better than last season, they at least showed heart in this game. Dureau was AWFUL though, it's clear why he was hated by Newcastle fans. I thought Catalans were actually pretty unlucky, they were the better side but just couldn't find a way over the line, largely due to the ineptitude of Dureau. When Bosc returns to parter Gigot I think the team will go ok.

I thought we were abysmal, shocking, only Casty and Paea were worth noting for me.

we were awful - the sort of performace where TR will find it difficult to find positives - Dureau doesn't belong in SL,maybe TO level at best - discipline was appalling as usual with Jamel & David - even Clint didn't look happy. The whole tempo was far too pedestrian with an alarming lack of urgency until the last ten minutes - just imagine what a half decent team will do to them ? just a bunch of overpaid prima-donnas.
Their attitude was disgraceful - i'll take the trouble and expense to do the 1100km round trip for the Wakey game - but if the attitude and performance (not result) is the same they will not be seeing my custom again.

Why did we let Sherwin go ? old man that he was ! conversely Pelissier would have brought some pace and quick thinking to that bunch of old women...

There were some positives. Paea was excellent and Gigot went ok considering his age and lack of experience. The team seemed to be lacking a leader though, I didn't see who led the team out but most of the talking on the pitch seemed to be coming from Guisset as he ran on with the water.

Definitely the worst display of the day, luckily it was Quins & not Wigan!!

Yes, sorry i forgot to metion I thought Hendo did ok when he came on, gave us the go forward a proper hooker should. at one point, I saw Baile and Blanch BOTH stood at acting half, neither guy talking, you cant help but think that wouldnt have happened with hendo on, not a jot from Jean-Phi though.

We also keep saying the lads not a hooker, well for me he isnt a centre either, or a winger, christ knows what he is. I think he still needs to find his best position

Speaking of half time , Im sure Rob Powell and the lads found their half time jellied eels particualry sweet after our perfomance.

Re Dureau. What are we saying then: new Shane Perry or new Sean Rudder?

Hendo did ok and Gigot found his feet in the second half,Paea did ok but Clint wasn't dominating or taking control as usual - there were far too many ridiculous offloads which handed possession cheaply back to the Quins - this is not the Sydney Roosters level so TR has to accept the drop in level and play accordingly IMO - this present group isn't yet able to play to the style he's become accustomed to.Menzies and maybe Hendo & Clint are on the same level as TR,the rest need to catch up or TR needs to adapt his players to amore acceptable system.
My biggest problem was lack of mobility - David & Jamel looked like cart-horses - the dissappointing Dureau didn't do himself any favours.Slow thinking and total lack of imaginative kicking.

Dont we have enough back rowers? and without wanting to sound like a broken record, I think Deurau needs a, tommy alongside him and B, time,but i said that about Kevvie, Steve bell and Pez.

In fairness ti quins i thought they defended quite well and didnt really give clint any room, bearing in mind he was obviously gonna be the go to man without tommy
