Quote ="Jimmythecuckoo"I have calmed down a bit and watched the post match press conferences now.
[uInteresting comments by the coach on the fact the referee shared a flight over and back with the Rhinos. Was very careful not to say it was something he felt had influenced the result, but was happy to leave it out there.

For me it was a nice deflection away from the fact that our big name players had, again, not being able to keep their heads in a big game.
That's a cutural issue for me. Successive coaching teams and groups of players have not been able to consistently manage this.'"
Seriously, when there were plenty of flights from Manchester and surrounding airports the officials went on a Friday and came back Sunday, nowadays and I may be wrong here but weren't Catalans the first to charter a flight and fly there and back in the day?, however most teams do it now so surely even allowing for his disappointment of losing at home he can see the logic in putting them on the same flight and helping with the costs to the traveling clubs, not a very respectful remark to make from somebody who should know better really.
