he is a great prospect John - really, one of the best prospects for years IMO

I saw him in a juniors game for the first time about 5 years ago at Villeneuve wheere he stole the show as a scrawny FB with one memorable try from under his own posts where he ran like a whippet past 13 bemused Leopards players !
I spoke to him last season in the stands, also at Villeneuve as it happens where I asked him of his expectations for 2013 - he replied that he was hoping to replace Greenshields as the regular Catalans FB as he felt he had served his apprenticship, this was before the signing of Webb which really disillusioned the young lad

fantastic to see him proving the club wrong, especially Robinson who seemed intent on signing Webb

good to also see Kevin Larroyer getting the playing time - he is a great prospect also after slogging it out at the TO academy and the first team despite Gilles Dumas doing his best to destroy the lad...

I'm really impressed with how he's come on. Some of the stats he's turning out each week are right up there.
While JB and Anderson getting injured isn't great, lads like Kev and Antoni Maria are really stepping up and taking the opportunity which the misfortune of others has presented them.

quite right - Sir Steve Menzies must take some credit for Kevins' improvement, the young lad reckons he is his great inspiration - not surprising when you think about ? he inspires me too !

mustn't forget Mikael Simon who is now back in favour - can't figure out why he was ever out of favour ?

also great to see the ever dependable Fred Vaccari getting a few games after a season spent in the LER

Love watching this kid play - real natural talent and a tremendous gallic flair that has been sadly missing from the game!!
