We are looking to get a subsite soon, but in the meantime reports etc. will be on the forum... here is what I thought of it.
The game was pretty even in the main and if Dragons could have concentrated on playing Wire and not the officials it might have been a closer score at the end.
A lot was made of that decision and the fact the touch judge got it right. I agree he did, but I dont for one minute think he could have been super confident in making that call. It benefitted the home side because their fans were behind him.
Not that I buy in to the Twitter sensation that is #catalansconspiracy , those decision benefit home teams all the time and its the supporters job to get into the officials and make them favour their team.
There were a number of positives to the game from our point of view. Sir Damien of Blanchalot getting off the mark for the season and the continued influence of Zebedee.
Sadly though all will be outweighed by the histrionics of Brent Webb and a complete loss of discipline and control by Olivier Elima.
Throw in Vincent DuPort having one of his worse games and you have something to improve on for sure !
Man of the match ? Damo for his two tries but I thought Bosc played ok too.
