| During the period of time between Thursday evening 2nd June and early hours of Friday morning, some mindless individual/s took it upon themselves to set fire to the Haworth Park Sports facility and in doing so caused the needless destruction of the club house, kit and equipment. For what reason one can only imagine. Childrens teams are operated from this club and apart from the upset and turmoil it has caused them,it has set the club back years financially in what is a hard time for all financially.
I have started this thread for two reasons, firstly in the hope that the perpetrator is caught and brought to justice and secondly that the business community of Hull could see their way to offering us assistance either in the form of tradesmen to help rebuild or financial support in order for us to replace playing kit, balls, bottles, bags & shields etc.
Haworth Park helped Catalans out with training facilities when they played their away fixture at Hull KR, we need your help now. If anybody knows somebody at the club or could point me in the right direction for me to pass this message on please do but if anybody would like to help a desperate amatuer club in need please follow this link and donate, a massive thanks in advance...
If any of you are genuinely interested in helping the club get back on its feet, I have all the contact numbers needed.
Thanks for your time.
