Irlam and Springview both with impressive wins yesterday....be interesting to know what sort of side Pilks put out with there 1st team game being Postponed, very good win away from home for Irlam.
I hear Springs were in inspired form yesterday against a good young Leyland side who for the first 20 minutes took it to Springview.

Excellent result for Haresfinch against Heysham, Heysham may have got themselves into a promotion spot with a win yesterday.

Nice to see a couple of draws, always a sign of good games of Footy.

The season now is at boiling point and there are some mouth watering fistures next week, with Irlam travelling to Leyland and Springs making the trip to morcambe!

We aren't up yet!!...need to close the season out!

Going to be a tough league next year with Hindley being in there, I think 12 months down the line aswell, Leyland will be a force to be reckoned with, they are a very young side and play very good rugby at times, IMO they let there heads drop abit yesterday when we got a roll on, but in the first 15-20 minutes as Jammydodger said, they matched us and had a virtually flawless defence, after 20 minutes I honestly thought it was going to be a 4-6pt game.

You've gotta be happy comin away from Higgys with a point!

higgy played ok yesterday we should have won but our kicker got hurt and went off

lang will be good 4th div team next year.my mate at pilks said they put out good team but irlam played some great rugby to beat them,looks good game at the wood.glad to have got rid of that dick of a thug at irlam ,shame house cows still here brown noseing.good centre from lang for 3rd div team.

Good game for higginshaw and langworthy yesterday. Pity couldn't take part.

Its was at Langworthy so werr happy with not losing but the back up kickers were poor for us plus I hit the bloody post really good game are captin and centre scored to cracking tries think Lang played well they are a tough side

keep up the great work higgy, i know its been a bad year with alot of changes in the team and stuggling to get a team week in week out but remember this is a hard div 3 were every team is hard to beat and no one has given us a proppa beatin. we lost against springview in the 1st half but the 2nd half we gave em a game. irlam was a great game that we lost by 8 points at there ground. hope every team has a great end to their season and good luck to the teams that go up and down

Irlam have no problem with you guys i can guarantee we know what to expect when we play you and thats a good hard game thought you would of done better than you have this season but maybe there are reasons for that ,good luck for the rest of the season
