Bury Broncos 6 - 26 Wigan Bulldogs

We weren't good today, the game plan went to sht and our defence was too inconsistent. Wigan were the better side overall, ran well and tackled well - I wish some of our lads would bend their backs in the tackle like that! Fairly even for much of the game, a 10 minute spell either side of half time killed us off; some soft breakaway tries and dire defence in spells. No excuses but a load of early injuries didn't help.

And I wish they wouldn't bring their female following. Fcking horrible skanks on the side spouting gutter trash all game. Do they kiss their kids with those mouths? It's like a little gang of Grotbags. Lads, leave them at home, you're a decent bunch and don't need that lot screaming abusive sht all game - and even after the game. They're not clever or witty and don't do anything for you, they're just embarrassing, but then I suppose we do get to stare in wonder and have a laugh.



That aside, another good enjoyable game.

Newton Storm 12 - 12 Widnes Tigers

Top Match!!! Storm lost out on the win due to a last minute penalty, allowing them to convert the penalty for the draw. Good hard battle between the forwards which told in the last 5/10mins allowing widnes gain alot of possesion and field position.

Sargey left the field with an injury after knocking on with his first two touches.
great seeing him limping at the end. tart!!

Aargh played as many minutes if nor longer than sad sack on two bad ancles AND predicted the correct result!

Apparently confirmed by the NWC, Bolton Mets have folded.



Terrible news, especially for those die-hards who've tried to keep things going for so long. I know there have been internal differences and a few have moved on but we'd all hoped they would at least see the season out and built for next year.

Ps. any Bolton players looking to carry on playing, give me a shout, we've a great bunch of lads, we're local and always welcome new faces - don't let the RL die in you!!
