No ringers in our team for any games and we have only played ulverston from cumbrian teams, not played hindpool yet, so your talking crap.

Ulverston beat us last week in the barton townley cup (barrow and district) 36-10 and they were the better team and up for it more than us, same in league last time.

Moss bank, we asked what pitch was like because there was ice all around the changing rooms, you's said it has'nt been checked yet but it'll be fine. The pitch was rock hard, not refrozen. your players who said you had a lot missing. Local ref should check it, not council.

With reference to the above though, I'm not sayin that there were ringers in Woolstons side....but a few new faces. Same with MB, and you could tell with the standard of rugby.

Just because our newer players haven't played against you in the past doesn't mean they are not our players. I don't do 'ringers' and I am quite insulted at the suggestion.

And to stop the rumours now, we have lost two players to the Wizards. One had only played for us 5 times and one hasn't played this season. But if you want to carry on thinking that we have a problem go ahead. We'll do our talking on the pitch! We were rubbish against Moss Bank and still won, but I do think these long breaks between games due to weather will prove to be a leveller come the end of the season.

it sounds like woolston are feeling the pressure they are a bit touchie on here arent they. thanks for the vote of confidence shawy but we still got a lot of work to do if were guna win it. dalton still have a big say in the league as do SV so i wouldnt go counting my eggs just yet lol. the banter flyin round is great but will get better when the big teams play each other (like next week cowies). any way to all you teams in league apart from woolston and heysham (for obvious reasons) GOOD LOOK SATURDAY.

Dalton 38 Ulverston 30. Good game, Ulverston kept bringing themselves back into it but never got ahead. Good team effort by us today and still not lost at home. No game for us next week, was meant to be blackbrook A. Hindpool next week, hopefully put another blow to that promotion surge of theirs, like SV did last week and saddleworth did today.

Saddleworth 34-10 Hindpool

Saddleworth coach said that was the best side they had out all season and it showed. No excuses though we had a side out capable of beating them but we played awful. I f Saddleworth can get that side out regular then they will take a few scalps before the end of the season.
Promotion is on the back burner till next season when we will be in division 4 if we dont buck up.

By the looks of it, Saddleworth 1st Team didn't have a game yesterday, or at least I cant see a result for them on League Republic.

I noticed the MB result Clint, Haresfinch came to our place and gave us a scare....thats been on the cards, just glad it was against one of the top 3!

Saddleworth 1st team played St Cuthberts in National Cup so cant use that as an excuse either. That lad from SV who bet one of lads £100 he wouldnt play at your spot will be keeping hold of his money. Nath broke his leg yesterday playing for our 2nd team.

with all the banter going on in here i would just like to be serious for a min and congratulate div 3 for being a really good division and a tough one. i know we have are banter but like the moss bank result yesterday anyone can take a result so its a credit to play in such a division with such a good calibre of rugby.
