Agree with top and bottom 2.. 3 through 10 could be any order. Lots of questions hanging over many sides.We are very hard to predict this season but I do like our side on paper. A sneak of a chance at top 5 if no key injuries but 7th would be real progress

I do think anywhere between 5 and 10 can interchange though, dependant on injuries and form. Our spine worries me at the moment seems to fragile. Catalans still won't travel well and don't think are that good regardless of a trophy. Salford good starting 17, think if they get some injuries which happens in RL they will struggle. FC could be in trouble really I don't expect radford to last the season.

Saints 3 signings Coote, Naqaima, Paulo are excellent additions and with Walmsley back I don't see them struggling this year that much.

Salford will have a decent 17 but little back up. Hasting/Lui is as good as anything In SL. Don't know how Kockrash writing off his liabilities will help them? Have they got any spending power at all? Cas, Wakey Leeds Hudds Cats and ourselves could be anything really.?

Thats my thoughts on salford if hastings is injured no back up.Koukash funded the hastings arrival apparently,but only so much he is willing to do with no supporters.

Yeah pretty much agree with that. In mid-table particularly, a win or two more or less can make a big difference in terms of position. My hope is that is where we are, rather than bottom 3 or 4 again.

With a bigger pack ourselves, and the reduction in interchanges maybe working against those that rely heavily on bullyball I think we’ll have a chance of a result in more games than this season just gone - which was always going to be tough after promotion. 7th would be great, I reckon 5th would be almost miraculous - but i’m glad the players are willing to say it. Waiting diffidently for success doesn’t work.

Looking at the whole team when everyone fit, the competition for places is as good as it’s ever been, even our team that reached 4th all them years ago couldn’t match our strength in depth now.
Granted that first 17 was as excellent.
When have we ever been able to boast 4 excellent centres, four or five good second row forwards, a bullying type pack and 4 very good playmakers all in the same squad?
I think this year will be a sit up and take notice type year for alot of pundits. And I think we will fly under the radar a bit. Here’s hoping, but..........injuries will be the telling factor, we are due a break.

I have no problem with fans of any clubs posting their probable finishing table. It's all opinions and when you look at the pundits and bookies HKR are likely to be bottom 4. I feel we ended the season with bit of momentum and showed a lot of good rugby in amongst a few horror shows also accounting for maybe the worst injury list in the league. If we are going to progress Wakey Hudds Cats FC, maybe even Cas we have to knock off. Leeds and Wigan have capacity to be great or pony? So Saints and Warry aside I say its hard to predict? Still a player or 2 to be signed so why not aim for 5th?

I think huddersfield will be right among it,simon woolford very shrewd as a player and has made some excellent signings,i may have underestimated them in my league table.

A few shudds players still in recovery and not sure what sort of preseason they will get.

It all depends with Hull KR injury curse if we go ok injury wise and drinkwater signs his partnership with Maguire/Atkins will be amazing, so could see it being 1. Saints 2. Warrington 3. Wigan 4. Catalan 5. Kr 6. Wakefield 7. Leeds 8. Huddersfield 9. Salford 10. Castleford 11, Hull 12 London... but who knows like everyone says were guessing and hoping but also think Kr to win challenge cup in 2019

It's been proven by the last 3 winners a very average side can get "up for the cup" Even our loss to Leeds showed a team not doing great in the league can make the final. Not a chance of the other trophies at this stage of development but yes, why not a good cup run?

Last year I agree and I know you are biased, but to call us average in 2016 is laughable, we had a very good side and would have won the GF that year if we had of been knocked out the cup in the semi, I also think had we beaten Leeds in 2017 in the semi (which we nearly did) we would have beaten Cas in the final.

You have you still a long way from being as good as our 2016/17 sides IMO, could you win the cup, maybe, but despite it being easy to win, I don't see it happening just yet

Although I’m pleased with our signings I don’t think there will be a massive power shift in Hull that some seem to be predicting more likely you’ll be around 6th and us around 7-8th
