Good signing but disipline was always going to be an issue with Poore, would guess no option of EGP?

HDM say's he's not eligible for the EGP. After the Wakey V Leeds game on boxing day he was charged and used an EGP. They added this onto there website.

Was it a head injury for Langley?

Langley was ko'd making a tackle, I think.

Much as there's a primitive part of my hindbrain that finds it rousing, I'm anti-biff. It'll happen from time to time, given the nature of the game, but it should be discouraged. IMO. Given that Poore was binned, I think it should be one game. I expect it'll be 2 though. There's not much we can do about the vagaries of the panel, we just need to try to smarten up.

Thought if a penalty was given or a sin bin given the matter was closed.

Well, with Wayman and Poore missing this next match, here's hoping we won't miss them that much with our youngsters outperforming them so far this season.
For me, both need big games at Saints next week, to make up for (in the case Wayman) disappointing starts to their Rovers careers.

Why can't Poore use an early guilty plea?

I believe any player is allowed one egp in a year and justin had already used his. One epg if true is plain daft

But he used his last one in Dec 2012

Pretty sure it's not calendar year so he couldn't make a further one until December 2014.

It's 12 months continuous good behaviour to earn another EGP, somebody else mentioned on another thread/board I think. He was done again during last season.

Don't throw punches and you wont get banned. It isn't rocket science.

There are plenty more ways to intimidate people on a rugby pitch.

If you think RL is bad, in another sport two players have been banned for playing ice hockey during a mass brawl !!

Remember seeing a sending off league table (Open Rugby?) in the 80s covering the previous 5 years I think. We were joint top with Warrington, something ridiculous like 57 red cards each, about 3 times more than an other side. Sure we had about in 20 one season.

Our pack then wasn't really made for todays rugby...too many cameras now

This! Poore can get riled and give away penalties but when he channels it he's an absolute monster.

Great player for establishing bruise control in the forward battle.
