If Travis has recovered from the cork injury it might nullify the threat from Pryce, but as Disco Dave says (article on Rover's website), if Rovers forwards can get to grips with there's then we are in with a shout.

I wouldn't go on FCs show against the Dragons, their middle has been exposed now for some time whilst Rovers' has shown marked improvement.

I am sort of hoping Dobbo's reference to the match venue as being an away gig for the Dragons as well to work in our favour, although our away form is hardly inspiring.

I'm going to curse it by predicting a win for Rover's, but qualifying it subject to Travis being fit.

Tonight's match is expected to be played in front of 15,000 spectators, and according to my French academic 'fellow' there will be more Toulouse supporters than Catalans!

I asked him about the rivalry between the two clubs and he remarked disdainfully, 'Puhhh! When we [meaning Toulouse get into SL we will be the best French team'.

No love lost there then. I recognise he isn't a yardstick for generalisation, but he reckons the Toulouse fans will get behind Rovers because of the intense rivalry (and I will add 'envy'). Who knows, but it certainly adds flavour to what is always a colourful away gig.

I can't see us getting anything out of this match. 30 - 18 to Catalans.

You have a good record in france and les cats aren't at home, which is generally a big advantage for them. Is dureau playing? If you have burns playing I expect you to give them a good game and wouldn't be surprised if you sneak it.

A lot will depend on how Burns has recovered from his dead leg and if Mika is fit to play because he's a really physically strong defender in the middle which we'll need from the off and also his offloads could be useful as Catalans tire providing we get enough of the ball.

Deserved win for Rovers in the end, never easy in France and Rovers rode their luck at times but kept the Dragons to just a couple of chances. Well done to the team.
