| With the abandonment of plans to relocate the Golf stand at the south end of the ground ,a likely limit to capacity of 8500 or less , and not much room for away supporters this year , it is firmly on the cards that Rovers will switch their "home" derby to the KC...with Sundays friendly and the Manchester derby thats four derbies with none at home..
Whilst sensible from a financial point of view lets hope its as temporary a situation as possible....

| How will that work then? Are HKR season pass holders given entry automatically without having to 'swap' or pickup a ticket? Will we be given opposite stands?

| I would be happy to see this years Derby switch to the KC. If both teams start the season well then a sell out Good Friday match at the KC would be pretty profitable for Rovers. There is always the chance that petty Hull fans would boycott the game but i would let them keep their normal Stands and just take the North and half the West stand for Rovers fans.

| Suggesting the majority of our fans attend an "home" game and sit behind a goal or high in the clouds? I'd rather have a side, personally.

| How much to hire the KC?
Not moving the Golf Stand is a pretty significant development - when was that decided?
Is it just knackered or is something planned for the South? I know there were plans, but iirc the funding wasn't secured.
If we can get mate's rates I don't see why we couldn't do it every year. A fullish house there makes the 10k average much easier to achieve.

So do we think they're not doing the north stand at all then it's all very confusing

| I'm hugely relieved.
With the arrival of a new coaching regime, getting away from using only Riolo and Howes as agents, hated players (including the one who was banging his wife) leaving to be replaced by new ones, I was terribly worried that my old mucker Lazzington wouldn't have [ianything[/i negative to comment on until at least round six.
I feel ashamed of myself for doubting him.

I'd imagine the same price we pay, hopefully you'll be able to get the same rate when/if AP renegotiates the deal.

First 7,500 go free, so that more than covers our season ticket holders.
We'd only get another 1k above that if we are limited to 8.5k at NCP, so as long as we get 2k or so, going halves with the SMC, that makes it worthwhile.
Ground rent, if we had to pay that, would be 170k/13 (fair?)= 13k. You'd need another ~1000 for that. =#FF0000edit - wrong dumbass, you have to split that with the SMC, so [u2[/uk
Loss of revenue on food/drinks? Probably tolerable with 1500 more on top of that.
12k? Very doable.
18k and you're taking home a ~£40k bonus.

| Its a community stadium so if Rovers could swallow their pride it makes sense for them to use it. I wouldn't go to the Derby at your place but would probably go to it if its at the KC.

Two-thirds on the last available figures, iirc.
Not sure 23k would happen though.
I've thought it'd be a good option for a while, but not too many share that view.
Could all be nonsense anyway.

| Maybe it's just me but I'd rather play at CP and have a limitted capacity (if its true), teams like Warrington, Saints and Wigan all bring a few away fans so are we playing those games away as well??

| Wheres the link that we are not even using the golf stand any more?
I would rather we still played the derby at Craven Park, why give the "away" team an advantage of playing on there home pitch.

| IMO I think it would be a rational economic decision to opt to play the Good Friday derby at the KC, if it is available, whilst MS3CP is undergoing development. I would even consider playing against Wigan, Saints, Warrington and Leeds at the KC, plus any home ties in the CCup depending on the opposition.

| Will the KC accept a Rovers season pass as entry -or- Our club post out tickets to pass holders (expensive?), rather than having to queue for a ticket swap.
Also, I wouldn't want my view, which in my case is a brilliant view, of the game changing. I'll not be happy in the upper tier or behind the goals. I'd expect, being the home team we are given the lower west or the east stand as a primary location.
Providing the above is catered for, I have no qualms whatsoever.
Edit: more wills than an old folks home.

| I think it's quite possible that when the chaps attended to survey taking it down, It became apparent that it wouldn't go back together in any fit state, I doubt that this means the North stand won't go ahead, they'll surely just scrap the heap of junk to make way for the North stand and in the meantime house Away fans 'where possible', In yesterday's case, The RM seats.
There's usually a fair few empty seats up in the back corners of the RM Stand due to it's restricted view, in light of this, I've noticed that they have recently removed all of the advertising banners from the sides that makes the windows clear and thus, enabling a 'better' view of what would be 'blind spots'.

| Reckon they'd be better openning the South Stand and pricing it at £7 for all fans for this year, may take a hit on entrance fee but unless they hire some more temporary seating then are there any other options?

Given that they won't do that for season tickets then I doubt it.
As an aside, have season passes been issued, I've heard nothing?
