Michael Smith is my favourite ever Rovers Player ( Only been going 7 Seasons) and i think its is disgusting that people make fun at his size or weight!!
We never complained when he dragged 3 or 4 players down the field at any givin time and the oflfoaded for several trys to be scored.
He was outstanding in the grand final and i firmly believe that had he wanted to train he would still be with us now!!
To the fans going pre Super League the guy is a legend and so is his convertion taking. Its the worst ive ever seen!!!
But i will never forget when we were getting smashed by Quins at CP and he come off the bench and dragged 4 players across the line for a try.
Dont knock the guy he was ACE!!!!!

I know but you have to draw a line when he puts his belt on with a boomerang.
Anyway I saw him at fat-fighters the other week, he was weighing himself, and the scales said "one at a time please".

If he could get fit he could easily be one of the best forwards in SL. Just remember his first run in the NL1 GF, sent shivers down the spine.

Michael Smith would have been amongst the very best forwards in the world had he had the dedication of the most professional players which we all know he never had for what ever reason/s..

Only he knows why he's had a few problems but it's a shame he never fulfilled his potential.
