Is Netherton still out? Against Cas, I'd go with 5 props (ie Vella playing in the backrow), rather than for a lightweight bench (2 of Fitzhenry/Cockayne/I'anson), especially if the pitch is going to be heavy.

That's a shame. Chev has been showing some promise of late. Nev played for the reserves against Hull and had a good game by all accounts.

i think some of the rovers fans need to give chev a break ( no pun intended) ok so his defence has been weak at times but so has clint newtons and nobody has said get shut of him

Well e.g. I think Cockayne offers more versatility, is a better defender, better and returning kicks, and generally more lively (e.g. more energetic performances IMO).
Also, people say he runs strongly, but guys like Lovegrove do so a lot better (again, just my opinion).
For a former GB international I just don't feel he does enough per game.
