It's not a bad stadium, it just has the worst stand in SL and the reason the club havn't been warned aswell is because Rovers are doing something about the stadium. Putting plans into action.

Probably because we have a realistic plan for upgrading. All the above only have plans for a brand new stadium, it may never happen for some or most.

Would have been very strange after being voted Super League club of the season 2008.

Have you been to the grounds mentioned ?

Apart from Celtic I have and I enjoy visiting all of them, much more than some of these newer stadiums.

what was wrong with celtic, i enjoyed it!

Saints - haven't been but looks a bit small on TV
Celtic - never went, but similar to above
Wakefield - Shocking ground IMO, bottlenecked turnstiles, and lack of walkway for spectators.
Salford - haven't been, but will be this year (was on holiday when they played last time.)
Castleford - worst gorund of the lot, people say Craven park is a dump but I think its far better than the jungle. It helps to see all of the sticks when you're at a ground ya kno lol

I was amazed at the state of some of the grounds I visited when we got promotion. They hadn't altered since the last time we had played there.

Rovers have been seen to keep improving CP and we know work still needs to be done but the board have worked tirelessly in the past 4/5 years to get it done.

Ground of the season? when?

Ahhhh ok, but yeah it goes in that group aswell! but i would still put CP in that group myself.
If we extend the rest of the east stand, move the golf stand to the otherside then build on the north i will change my mind.
Or even if we get another golf stand and have one at each end it would improve things.

i'm not sure whether you have visited any off the above mentioned but i find it hard to understand how you can compare Rovers ground with any of them.
Ok we all know the south stand is not the best stand in SL but dare i suggest, neither is it the worst.
As for the rest of the ground, the East stand has been exended at one end at a cost of £200,000 with the other side due for extension at a cost of approx £400,000, the North stand development is probably not to far away and the pitch is probably one of the best if not the best in SL, and of course, not forgetting the floodlights, which were re-newed at a substantial cost to the club, ask youself, have any other super league clubs spent so much on their grounds in such a short space of time?.
All in all things are looking very positive both on and of the pitch for Hull KR.

Amazing isn't it ...we are awarded club of the year and the best the Dullers can come back with is "you wont win it this year"

Based on your comments above, all i can say is helps if you open your eyes or take of your dark glasses when visiting these other grounds,
I appreciate it is in your opinion, but i suspect there is a strong hint of bias in your observations.
I have visited every RL ground in the Uk and one or two outside of the UK over a 42 year period and in an unbiased veiw rovers ground is no way the worst, St helens Castleford,Bradford,Salford and wakefield are far more substandard than Rovers ground and like i have i have already said , the improvements that have been made and plans for future development will make Craven park one of the best,
in my opinion of course.

The south stand is the worst stand in the super league and it needs sorting out.

Craven Park itself though is a fairly decent ground and there are far worse including St Helens, Castleford, Wakefield, Salford and Celtic.

I thought we were talking about the South Stand in particular? At no point did I say NCP is the worst ground in SL.
