Wouldnt have thought he'll be playing in the National Leagues for very long. Looked a very very good player. Caught out a couple of times by Jake defensively but with the right coaching could be a very destructive centre.

Either him or Makali will be the only ones who can have a word with him, the only words of English he knows are bad ones.

Very good attacker but does need to work on his defence, he looked to have great upper body strength and for me Sheffield didn't use him enough. Could have caused us alot more problems.

You could see he was raw, Webbo was running rings round him, but not many people bump webbo to the deck when they run at him like he did. Would be an excellent project for Morgan he said Andreas Bauer was a rough dimond but Yere is exactly that. Worth a punt and would cost very little salary cap wise

He'd count on the overseas quota though... we aren't exactly running short in that department.

I think Papuans should not count on the quota, by that I mean Papuans born in New Gunea, not their parents ect.

Hes a great lad and will be playing SL soon enough........ BUT it will not be with us, there is no way we could risk a "diamond in the rough" on a quota spot.

Vella isn't on quota because of his Maltese passport and Newton due to his American one (I think)

So I think that leaves 4 quota players being Galea, Webster, Dobson and Fitzhenry.

Yere looked very strong but also very raw has alot to learn about the game still, he is better off learning in the nl with Sheffield

Exactly , few clubs could afford to use a quota spot for developing a player , even with the no relegation situation.

Hull have Sam Moa as a 'project' and previously had Hutch , but this is not a general trend .

But FC are run by idiots, thats the difference.
