tremendous effort today by rovers defencively, however in the second half a number of bizarre referee decisons seemed to be keeping Hull in the game. Grapple tackles that were not grapple tackles hull players dropping balls over their own line which rovers seemed to score from only for ref to say drop out from under the posts, and various other 50/50 decisions going for hull.
WAS THIS DONE FOR THE TELE TO KEEP THINGS EVEN??

Just got back from the game, i cant recall any horror moments from the ref.

Great game though, not too good for the nerves.

Not sure about this game, but there's been a couple of games down the years that have had that sort of feeling about them.

The decision about Calderwood being dragged into touch and then Hull getting a penalty was a strange one. Didn't think it was a high tackle by Lovegrove either (second half when Hull player knocked on).

i don`t think he made any gesture as to why it wasn`t a try.he had his back to the play running towards the posts to signal the drop out.didn`t have a bad game,to be fair.

Watch it again Briscoe stripped the ball in a 4 man tackle.It should have been a penalty to Hull so stop whining

was a random decision that one, i didn't think there was much in the tackle to be honest

but overall i felt the officials were decent today, at least Ganson usually keeps a game flowing.

He is the best referee to have in a game like this, rarely overkills the penalty count.

I thought Ganson did alright. You won fair and square due to your first half display and out first half sleep. Well done Rovers. Can't wait until July what a great game.

Whilst I don't think Ganson was biased, FC got most of the contentious decisions.

And by the way, [uWE DID NOT GET ONE PENALTY ALL GAME[/u which was a contributing factor to why we didn't put them to the sword...
