There was talk in the club after the game yesterday that he has signed a four year deal, i certainly hope it is true because players like him are paramount to our future success.

Easily the best, how on earth he didn't make the world cup squad last year is beyond me, when you consider Gardner and Calderwood were picked ahead of him.

selection will be interesting this year, noble had his favourites who were picked because of the club they played for, smith stuck to leeds and saints players mainly, wonder if any from warrington will be included!

Chris Reily is pretty useful but nowhere near international selection.

Alas, i would agree he is the best Englsih winger in the comp. My 3 picks for SL would be:

Donald
Fox
Hicks (when he plays there)

No seriously though Raynor and Fox are the best wingers in the league who are british. Fox has got a fantastic career ahead of him. Both of them would be even more devastating in the Leeds side seeing as both our teams don't use our wingers to there full potential.

Unfortunatelyit was due to the teams they played for rather than ability, put Fox in Saints side and he would be better than Gardner by a mile.

I'd go along with that in that order tbh.

I think Ainscough will be the one to take Raynors place in the future. Gaz seems to be getting more injuries and is very latteral when looking for gaps whereas Ainscough and Fox are pretty direct runners.

I like Fox and can't think of any other English/British winger whos better at the minute, youv'e got a good en' there. I would like players like Fox and young Briscoe and Owen also to shine in the league this season.

Not too sure about that. Gardner is a fantastic all round player, whose skill is underestimated by some.

In some ways Fox's non selection for the last WC may be of some benefit to him as he will not be closely associated with the failure of the team.

He may well have gained experience from the campaign , but his absence allowed him to return this season probably fresher.
