Last time we went I had Yankees tickets on hold for the old iconic stadium.

Sometimes on Mr Worm's Sony Ericsson the pictures get muddled up. Only last night Roversmad's avator was replaced by Darth Wall's. I thought someone was playing silly beggars trying to making it look as though I was accusing Darth Wall of being the Fair's Father Christmas.

Grafton Red became my Worm for a bit and I became Roofs' thing. All a bit startling.

Got in from work and he's put a rather tacky picture of Mohamed Al-Fayed dressed as a pharaoh over my beautiful Jensen still life of flowers.



While I can see the ornate gilt frame does compliment his gold headress, it really is not in keeping with the new Moroccan tiles he's put behind them. I guess he's trying to enhance the North African theme, but it's tasteless to say the least.

I daren't say anything to him, though, because he obviously loves it. He keeps looking at it out of the corner of his eye and giggling proudly.

I think it's his way of reminding me of our holiday in Marrakesh when we were both delighted by the Moroccan King's picture being omnipresent in every commercial premise. It's a fantastic thing - the king when he came to power took a series of photos of himself in various appropriate and tongue-in-cheek poses, so his grateful subjects could promote their businesses via him. The King lying on a rug in the Carpet Souk, boarding a plane in the Travel Agents, peering over his spectacles in the Optitians, looking sombre behind his large desk in the Bank. I can't break it to him that it's not actually the King on our wall.
